When I think of happiness I think of happen chance. I don’t think happiness is really an area that anyone really lives. I think we kind of touch on it once or twice a year, like a moment that’s fleeting. Actually happiness wasn’t something you actually endeavored to be until America put it in our, you know, “pursuit of happiness”. I think that’s why Americans are so much more sad then most Europeans because Europeans aren’t trying to be happy because they’ve realized that’s kind of impossible to be. Just be content and enjoy what you’ve got.

You must get tired of hearing what a beautiful thing this car is. But I’ve met a lot of beautiful women in my life, and despite their protestations, they never tire of hearing it. But when deep beauty is encountered, it arouses deep emotions — because it creates a desire. Because it is, by nature, unattainable.
We’re taught to think that function is all that matters, but we have a natural longing for this other thing. When I was driving the E-type, I passed a ten-year-old boy in the back window of a station wagon, and I watched his eyes follow… He’d just seen something he would want for the rest of his life. He’d just seen that unattainable object speed by, just out of reach — because they do that, don’t they, beautiful things?
Then I thought about a man of some means reading Playboy or Esquire… flipping past the flesh to the shiny, painted curves of this car. There’s no effort to stop his eye. The difference is, he can *have* a Jaguar. Oh, this car. This thing, gentlemen. What price would we pay, what behavior would we forgive…? If they weren’t pretty, if they weren’t temperamental, if they weren’t beyond our reach and a little out of our control, would we love them like we do?
Jaguar. At last. Something beautiful you can truly own.

Why waste time thinking when the thoughts come to you.

I think if people ever need a clean substitute for “Go fuck yourself”, they should use “THERE’S AN AIRPLANE HERE TO SEE YOU!”.

These lyrics got me.

These lyrics got me.

It ain’t natural

I’ll rebel. I’ll rebel
But It ain’t natural
I take care, I take care
It’s just not growing well
I’m no match for you
It’s not hard to tell
This isn’t going well
But We’re under the palm trees
Thinking Heaven must be
Somewhere under these palm trees
With all the hell we’re raising
At least we had the palm trees
To shade us from the ray beams
But not even the palm trees
Could save us from the flames
Summer Remains

Flight Facilities - With You feat. Grovesnor (Official) (by flightfacilities)

Take a risk
Well that’s all you keep on saying
And the point that I’m relaying is it shouldn’t be like this
And you know
While I’m sitting here this evening
I just know I should be leaving but it’s too late for me to go
And now a kiss
Well you planted that one on me
And granted it has thrown me and it’s futile to resist
But don’t you see
If people see us here together, we’ve thrown it all away

I, oh I,
I just can’t be seen with you
Oh I
I just can’t be seen with you

Lets go
And get away to somewhere quiet
Where we can be in private away from prying eyes
And loose lips
That’ll get us into trouble see the whole world tumble down
Well you say you’re feeling crazy
And I’m feeling crazy too
But I couldn’t carry on like this without it hurting you
‘Cause you know that I am married
And I know that you are too so
I just can’t be seen
With you

Oh I
I just can’t be see with you
Oh I,
I just can’t be seen with you

I just can’t be seen with
I just can’t be seen with
I just can’t be seen with you

Oh I, Oh I
I just can’t be seen with you
Oh I,
I just can’t be seen with you
Oh I, Oh I
I just can’t be seen with you
Oh I,
I just can’t be seen with you
